SYARIAH AND LAW CLUB

INTODUCTION

The suggestion to establish Syariah and Law Club (SLC) is an important medium to the students, the faculty even the university itself. The current situation is that tens of thousands of graduates are employed and they are in need to have a career different from the field of study in university.

Therefore, it is expected from the establishment of SLC to equip the students with certain skill according to the current requirements in order to comply with the religion, race and nation, furthermore, as an effective preparation when entering the employment soon.

OBJECTIVE

- As preparation for the students to race the real life challenge in the future.

- As an effective medium of connection between the students and other law and syariah society from worldwide renowned university.

- To raise the prestige of the students as qualified people in syariah and law professionally for a suitable career opportunity in syariah and law field.

SIGNIFICANCE OF SLC’S ESTABISHENT

To place USIM’s reputation on equal status with other universities, especially in Malaysia.

Symbol and figure to the students in organizing club activities.

The vital part to ensure the success and effectiveness of SLC to all parties.

MISSION

Determined to be an advanced class of knowledge in the field of Islamic study which utilizes various skills and also to solve current issues relating to the society in Islam.

VISSION

To propose the unity between syariah and law as the core in producing excellent graduates and become knowledgeable generation.

CLUB NAME

This club is an combination of all students from all study programs in the faculty of Syariah and Law, USIM. This club named as Syariah and Law Club (SLC).

CLUB MEMBERSHIP

Club members consist of all students in Faculty of Syariah and Law in every program, namely :

Degree in Syariah and Law

Degree in Fiqh and Fatwa

Diploma in Judicial and Practitioner.

The membership is also automatically active, only if the member had registered as student in Faculty of Syariah and Law, USIM. And the membership is permanent throughout the study in the faculty.
